You would be a key member of the team that focuses on helping companies maximize the value of their data.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, integrating new data management technologies and software engineering best practices into client systems, and ensuring develop of an architecture that is suited to the client’s industry and the use-cases, fulfilling the immediate objectives while also helping the company scale its data / technology portfolio!

What we are looking for
Must have:
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
- Implement data engineering best practices, including ETL processes, data warehousing, data integration, etc.
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Optimize and troubleshoot data pipeline performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver on those needs.
- Develop APIs and microservices for data processing and access.
- Develop documentation and provide training to users as needed.
- Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements and are compliant with industry norms around storage and access.
Tech Skills:
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi, etc.).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or another programming language.
- Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with deploying machine learning models in production.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
